IMAGES of a proposed amphitheatre with a capacity for 4,000 people have been unveiled, with it set to have stunning Aegean Sea views from Camlik’s Second Bay.
Located next to the Didim Luna Park, and close to the Didim Beach Hotel, the amphitheatre is one of the pledges Didim Mayor Deniz Atabay had made at the last election.
Today, these computer-generated images show what the council has in mind when the work goes out to tender on April 29.
Mr Atabay said the construction will be built on an area of 7,253 square metres of land. He added: “Our amphitheatre project will add value to our tourism city and which we attach great importance to.
“The amphitheatre will be built in such a way that when viewed from pavement level, a height of only 1.5 meters will be seen. The sea view will not be interrupted while walking and it will be a ‘green’ project.”
