Street sellers banned from Saturday Market

THE streets around Didim Market are a lot quieter and better to walk on after a crackdown banished itinerant sellers. The operation, promised by Didim Mayor Deniz Atabay, has also been backed by advertising hoardings declaring the council’s war on reclaiming the streets for its residents.

Bin eats Man

ONE of the new bins installed in Didim has gobbled up an unfortunate young man. The man, who was finishing up clearing the waste at a barber’s shop in town, somehow deposited the rubbish and himself into one of the new bins which have underground storage for the trash.
